My second project management experience with British Council was on Colomboscope. Colomboscope is an arts festival celebrating contemporary literature, music, film, and performing arts organized by Goethe Institut and British Council.
My duties included assisting with the programme (researching, drafting, and editing), liaising with external and internal members, and general project management assistance. The participants selected were interesting and the panel topics timely and practical and yet academically literary. 🙂
We did some location scouting and found this amazing place in Modera. The Whist bungalow was just beautiful and underutilized. This is a picture I took on our visit there, and is the view from the bungalow.
The other places included the Rio Cinema (with the “drama” Paraya being hosted there), the Grand Oriental Hotel, and the New Town Hall. For me, the event was interesting mostly because of the locations they were held at.
The project was quite a bit relaxed comparing to the previous experience in August and September, and for that one must be thankful! 🙂
